According to a source in Pyongyang on March 10, Kim Jong-Il’s attendance at the celebratory event to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Hamheung’s 2.8 Vinyl Factory was planned by Kim Jong-Eun in order to boost his father Kim Jong-Il’s morale.
The source informed that Kim Jong-Il has been highly stressed and irritated with the pressure to raise more investment to support North Korea’s military, and to sustain the regime. This is making some of the other symptoms of physical ailments he suffers from even worse. (Note 1).
Kim Jong-Il is most irritated by reports of the difficult economic situation. He only rarely receives positive news of secured investment.
In order to encourage Kim Jong-Il, Kim Jong-Eun organized a celebratory event to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the 2.8 Vinyl Factory. 100,000 people attended.
According to a source, Kim Jong-Il has become more and more irritated since the United Nations imposed sanctions last June. The source stated that Kim Jong-Il is more and more stressed with the downturn of the North Korean economy, and his physical ailments will worsen due to stress.
